The reference oracle (reference_oracle_test.go:820 @TestOracleParseFloat) drives 10000 FormatFloat->ParseFloat round-trips plus a quick.Check byte-slice campaign against strconv, asserting exact equality, which directly witnesses the returns-value clause. MC/DC witnesses in mcdc_spec_witnesses_test.go cover the trigger-false (invalid token -> error, no value) and value-emitted rows.
