Omarchy

ProbeLabsviewing a historical run

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Known issueKI-MENU-FOLD-HEIGHT-EXCEEDS-AVAILABLE

foldedListHeight returns a height above the available cap; availableRowsHeight never clamps at zero

OpenOpenLow

Low-severity issue, currently open.

Description

The issue as recorded.

The full==1 path returns totals[0]+rowSpacing+peek with no clamp to available/maxHeight (anchor FOLD1; measured 82 against a cap of 50). availableRowsHeight can also return a negative budget (chrome larger than panel.height) that sends every branch past the cap (SX26/C36). The card clamp then cuts the visible list exactly at a row boundary, removing the fold peek the function exists to provide.

What protects you, and the fix

What limits your exposure today, and the planned remediation.

What protects you now

The off-card fold needs a near-zero available budget at a row boundary; normal screen sizes keep the fold inside the card

The fix

clamp available at >= 1px, and min the return against available (accepting the lost peek on tiny budgets)
