Omarchy
ProbeLabsviewing a historical runA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.
revealCursor loses the directional peek: an uninstantiated delegate skips it and the underhang write undoes it
Low-severity issue, currently open.
Description
The issue as recorded.
itemAtIndex returning null (delegate not built) aborts before any adjustment (anchor REV1). With a delegate, the overhang (down) and underhang (up) writes both run unconditionally. On a short viewport the second therefore undoes the first, and the cursor row parks flush with the viewport edge. That is the exact state the Contain comment forbids. positionViewAtIndex can also apply deferred contentY over the manual tweak.

What protects you, and the fix
What limits your exposure today, and the planned remediation.
What protects you now
The lost peek only affects scroll anchoring at list edges; keyboard navigation still moves the selection correctly
The fix
carry travel direction into select()/revealCursor and apply only the matching side; force delegate instantiation (or compute from geometry) before adjusting
