What's wrong?

Opening Learn → Omarchy while a video is fullscreen in Firefox opens the Omarchy manual fullscreen too. The manual window displays a prompt saying to press Escape to exit fullscreen, but pressing Escape does nothing. Closing the fullscreen video in Firefox still leaves the manual window stuck fullscreen.

Opening Learn → Omarchy normally, without a fullscreen Firefox video, works fine.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a video in Firefox and put the video in fullscreen.
  2. While the video is fullscreen, open the Omarchy menu and select Learn → Omarchy.
  3. The manual opens fullscreen and displays a prompt to press Escape to exit fullscreen.
  4. Press Escape: the manual remains fullscreen.
  5. Close the fullscreen video in Firefox: the manual still remains fullscreen.

Expected behavior

The manual should open normally. If it opens fullscreen and displays an Escape-to-exit prompt, Escape should exit fullscreen.

Launcher details and related reports

The installed menu action is omarchy-launch-webapp 'https://omarchy.org/manual/'. On this system the default browser is firefox.desktop, but the installed web app launcher falls back to chromium.desktop for Firefox and launches with --app. Thus the manual opens as a separate Chromium web app.

Potentially related: #8751 (new terminal inherits fullscreen) and #13157 (fullscreen transfers after screensaver focus changes). This report covers the manual web app and its ineffective Escape-to-exit prompt; a shared root cause has not been confirmed.

The reproduction and symptoms above are reported by the user; they have not been independently reproduced by the filing assistant. Package versions and launcher behavior were inspected locally. omarchy debug --no-sudo --print was unavailable on this installation (unknown command), so no debug log is attached.
