ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details

What's wrong?

When using the vertical bar layout with multiple active workspaces, workspace numbers (e.g., workspace 7+ and /indicator) collide directly with status tray toggles and active workspace pill indicators.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Switch to or position the bar vertically on the right/left edge.
2. Open applications across multiple numbered workspaces (e.g., workspace 5, 7+).
3. Observe the bar when system toggles (DND, night light, caffeinate) and active indicators are visible.

Expected Behavior:
Workspace numbers, pill indicators, and status icons should respect vertical spacing/padding without colliding or rendering on top of one another.

Actual Behavior:
Workspace numbers and indicator

icons stack on identical coordinates, making both unreadable.
