Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Description
Removing NVIDIA GeForce NOW with omarchy remove gaming geforce-now uninstalls the Flatpak, but leaves launcher artifacts in the user's local application directories. As a result, GeForce NOW continues to appear in Omarchy's application menu even though launching it can no longer work.
The removal command currently only runs:
flatpak uninstall -y --delete-data com.nvidia.geforcenowThe NVIDIA installer invoked by omarchy install gaming geforce-now also leaves standalone files outside the Flatpak-managed export directories, so Flatpak does not remove them.
Steps to reproduce
- Run
omarchy install gaming geforce-now. - Remove it using
omarchy remove gaming geforce-nowor the corresponding Omarchy menu item. - Open the Omarchy application launcher and search for “GeForce NOW”.
Actual result
GeForce NOW remains visible in the application launcher.
The following residual files were observed:
~/.local/share/applications/com.nvidia.geforcenow.desktop
~/.local/share/applications/NVIDIA GeForce NOW
~/.local/share/icons/hicolor/512x512/apps/com.nvidia.geforcenow.pngThe desktop entry points to the residual launcher script, which calls flatpak run com.nvidia.geforcenow.
Expected result
The removal command should also remove the launcher, helper script, icon, and refresh the desktop application database so GeForce NOW disappears from the menu.
