Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

fix(ssh-reconnect): use \e[?1047l instead of \e[?1049l in _ssh_disarm to prevent cursor jumping to (1,1)revision 1 · captured 2026-09-28 21:23 UTC via poll

In /usr/share/omarchy/default/bash/fns/ssh-reconnect, _ssh_disarm() emits \e[?1049l when an SSH session disconnects. Because 1049l executes DECRC (restore cursor), and the SSH session was in the primary screen buffer, the cursor jumps to (1,1) and subsequent output ('Connection lost...', new prompts) overwrites the existing terminal contents. Replacing \e[?1049l with \e[?1047l exits alternate screen without jumping cursor.
