Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Context Engine

A plugin that detects your work state from multiple signals and acts automatically.

What it does

Instead of tracking individual apps, Context Engine detects work states:

StateSignalsAuto-action
🟢 Deep WorkEditor + 15min + no audioSilence notifications
🔴 MeetingZoom/Meet + audio activeEnable DND
🟡 BreakSpotify/YouTubeNone (respect)
🔵 DistractedBrowser 30min+Suggest focus mode
⚪ IdleNo activity 20min+Suggest lock

Features

  • Multi-signal fusion: Hyprland windows + Pipewire audio + time + workspace
  • Domain tracking: Knows WHAT you're doing in the browser (YouTube = break, GitHub = work)
  • Auto-actions: DND in meetings, silent notifications in deep work
  • Fully configurable: Thresholds, apps, actions, schedule, AI
  • Optional AI: Ollama, OpenAI, or Anthropic for deeper analysis
  • SQLite history: Daily state summaries
  • Zero config: Works out of the box with smart defaults
