Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details

Omarchy 3.8

What's wrong?

After installing Omarchy 3.8, Proton VPN does not seem to connect (it does login successfully though), both CLI and GUI versions.
I contacted Proton customer support, and they replied that Omarchy is not supported.
I don't know what else it could or where to dig deeper. Has anyone had a similar problem with Proton or other VPNs?
(Proton worked without problems using Debian, and Mint previously on the same laptop)

Proton support:
We only officially support Linux on Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, and Arch (running on GNOME). We haven't officially tested the Linux application on the specific Linux distro that you are using (Omarchy), therefore, it is not officially supported, and I will be unable to guarantee that it will work as intended nor provide extensive troubleshooting steps.
