ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Add numpad bindings for workspace navigation on Quattrorevision 1 · captured 2026-09-28 21:29 UTC via poll

Context

The Quattro defaults support workspace navigation with the number row, but not the physical numpad keys.

This was previously discussed in #4033 and implemented in #4037. That PR was closed unmerged because it targeted the pre-Quattro configuration.

Proposal

Add numpad equivalents to the current Lua defaults for:

  • SUPER + numpad: switch workspace
  • SUPER + SHIFT + numpad: move the active window to a workspace
  • SUPER + SHIFT + ALT + numpad: move the active window silently
  • SUPER + ALT + numpad: select a grouped window, where applicable

The existing number-row bindings should remain unchanged. Physical keycodes should be used so the bindings remain independent of the keyboard layout.

This is a Quattro re-proposal of #4033/#4037; implementation would target the current dev branch.
