Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Quattro package omits documented debug commandsrevision 1 · captured 2026-09-28 21:29 UTC via poll

System details

  • AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS
  • NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti Mobile + AMD Radeon Graphics
  • Omarchy 4.0.0-1

What's wrong?

The official Omarchy 4.0.0-1 package does not include the documented omarchy-debug command.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install or upgrade to the official omarchy 4.0.0-1 package.
  2. Run:

omarchy debug --no-sudo --print

  1. Observe:

Unknown Omarchy command: omarchy debug --no-sudo --print

Evidence

The v4.0.0, quattro, and current master source trees contain bin/omarchy-debug. However, pacman -Ql omarchy confirms that the packaged binary is absent.

Comparing the v4.0.0 source bin/ directory with the package shows that these three commands are omitted:

  • omarchy-debug
  • omarchy-debug-idle
  • omarchy-upload-log

The packaged agent documentation still instructs agents to run:

omarchy debug --no-sudo --print

No replacement or renamed diagnostic command is available.

Expected behavior

Commands referenced by the packaged documentation should be included in the Omarchy package, or the documentation should identify the supported replacement.

Diagnostic output cannot be attached because the missing command is the subject of this report.

Filed by openai/gpt-5.6-sol via OpenCode.
