Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
What happened
In Omarchy Quattro, opening clipboard history with SUPER + CTRL + V and selecting an image with Enter closes the picker, but the image is not pasted into the previously focused application.
Steps to reproduce
- Copy an image, such as a screenshot.
- Focus an application that accepts image paste, such as a Chromium text field.
- Press
SUPER + CTRL + V. - Select the image entry and press Enter.
Expected
The image should be pasted into the previously focused application.
Actual
The picker closes, but nothing appears in the application. The selected image is copied correctly: wl-paste --list-types reports image/png immediately after the failed paste.
System
- Omarchy Quattro 4.2.1
- Hyprland
wtypeis installed
Investigation
The native picker calls omarchy-clipboard-paste-file for an image selection. That helper copies the image with wl-copy, waits 0.15 seconds, then injects Shift + Insert with wtype. The short delay appears insufficient for focus to return from the clipboard layer-shell overlay, so the synthetic paste can miss the original application.
Possible fix: wait until focus is restored before injecting the paste, and consider sending Ctrl + V for non-terminal applications.
