Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Video resumes itself a few seconds after pausing on YouTube/X and other sitesrevision 1 · captured 2026-09-28 21:29 UTC via poll

System details

Omarchy 3.8, Zen browser

What's wrong?

Whenever I play a video on YouTube, X.com, or other video platforms and pause it, the video automatically starts playing again after a few seconds without any input.

This happens consistently across multiple websites, so it does not seem platform-specific.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a video on YouTube, X.com, or another website
  2. Start playback
  3. Pause the video
  4. Wait a few seconds
  5. The video resumes playing automatically
