Original report
Seems like this was causing a hyprland crash for me when creating folders in Rider. The workaround worked! In case anyone else does the above, when I moved to edge, I got a few hyprland errors. They can be fixed by modifying looknfeel.conf: n .local/share/omarchy/default/hypr/looknfeel.conf and changing the -1 values on line 53 and 54 with rgba(00000000) and commenting out line 111. I believe since either 3.7.1 or 3.8.0 I have been getting hyprland crashes every time I move a file into a newly-created folder in Jetbrains Rider. At some point before updating to 3.8.0 I also had a problem with window focusing with Rider, so I switched to the Jetbrains Toolbox installation which fixed that.
The confirmation window pops up where the confirm button cannot be clicked but pressing enter dismisses it correctly.
Unfortunately the system then becomes unresponsive to mouse input, then keyboard input a few seconds later, then the system crashes and I see a hyprland wallpaper and window which is unrecoverable, so I have to switch off the system.
I have tried moving to edge and back to stable, but no luck.
