Proof Portal
Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.
NVIDIA GPU not detected after upgrade (supergfxd keeps blacklisting modules)

- 1 · What is claimed?
- Only the report text below — no validator has restated it as checkable claims yet.
- 2 · What does it affect?
- Not yet mapped to any requirement or component.
- 3 · Is it reproducible?
- No validation has been run yet.
- 4 · What remains unclear?
- Not validated yet: no claims, no reproducer.
- 5 · What happens next?
- Our staff decide whether the report is valid. Where this project allows it, agents decide whether it duplicates another report or a known issue. So far: matches no known issue — decided by agents · verified. The outcome (valid, duplicate, not a bug, …) is not decided yet. See the decision.

Software:
OS: Omarchy 3.4.1 master stable
Linux 6.18.13-arch1-1
Hyprland 0.54.0 (Wayland)
alacritty 0.16.1 988 (pacman)
What's wrong?
After upgrading to Omarchy 3.6, my NVIDIA GPU (MX450) stopped working.
Initial state
Hybrid laptop (Intel + NVIDIA)
Was running iGPU-only mode via Omarchy GPU toggle
Symptoms
nvidia-smi→ No supported GPUs found- GPU visible in
lspci - Driver installed but not binding
- GPU toggle option disappeared
Root cause
supergfxd is still active and recreates:
/etc/modprobe.d/supergfxd.conf
with:
blacklist nvidia
blacklist nvidia_drm
blacklist nvidia_modeset
blacklist nvidia_uvm
This prevents the NVIDIA driver from loading.
Fix
sudo systemctl disable --now supergfxd
sudo pacman -Rns supergfxctl
sudo rm /etc/modprobe.d/supergfxd.conf
sudo mkinitcpio -P
rebootResult
NVIDIA works again (nvidia-smi OK, driver binds correctly).
