Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Possible performance issues in Scratchpad while scrolling?revision 1 · captured 2026-09-28 21:29 UTC via poll

System details

Framework Laptop 13, AMD Ryzen AI 5 340, AMD Radeon 840M Graphics, 5120x2880 @ 2x in 27" 60 Hz

What's wrong?

I'm noticing an odd behaviour on scratchpad. I have a full-width browser window with enough content to scroll. When scrolling, the displays seems to be struggling to update the content. It looks as if the refresh rate is slower, but wiggling the mouse doesn't look any different to me than on any other workspace. Scrolling does.

Also, this only seems to happen on the external display, which is 60Hz. The internal display is 120Hz. Not sure if the refresh rate is masking the "performance" issues or if this is all really just a refresh rate discreprancy.
