Unable to install Omarchy on a 4TiB ssd

Thinkpad 560, intel i5-6200U, intel hd graphics 520, nvidia 940mx, Samsung SSD 870 QVO 4TB
What's wrong?
When I start the Omarchy installer, after it generated the user_configuration.json file, and calls archinstall, it errors out with:... /archinstall/lib/disk/device_handler.py line 563 _setup_partition _ped.PartitionException: partition length of 7809837056 sectors exceeds the msdos-partition-table-imposed maximum of 4294967295
It is a 4TiB SSD drive.
I had to stop manually the installer (by switching to another console), edit the user_configuration.json file, and partition the disk manually. However, I was unable to do it the Omarchy way and do a full disk encryption, it always failed with the same error as above.
I ended up with 3 partitions as usual (EFI - 1GiB, system - 1.9TiB, data - 1.6TiB). The installer kept crashing with errors such as partitions overlap, partition is misaligned or first partition must start at no less then 1MiB
The 5-minutes Omarchy install turned into 13 hours of fighting:-\
