Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

HDMI Monitor disconnects when clicking an action / top right widget.revision 1 · captured 2026-09-28 21:23 UTC via poll

System details

Intel Core i7-7500U 7th gen - AMD Radeon R7 M340 - OS Version 4.0.4.1 - Hyprland 0.56.2

What's wrong?

When I click an action (font size, monitors widget etc) my external monitor disconnects by itself, as if it were triggered or controlled by the system itself.
To sort out the problem I just need to unplug and plug the HDMI cable back in, and it carries on working normally until I try to use one of the features mentioned earlier.
The very same problem occurs when I install an official Omarchy plugin.
It's not that annoying for me, but in the long run it could really get on my nerves.
I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem, and I don't know if it's a bug either.
Thank you very much, big support.
