Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Suggestion: Dynamic color schemes based on wallpaperrevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:26 UTC via poll

I was thinking that maybe we can use pywal and matugen to generate colors based on the wallpaper.

It could maybe be an extra option in the theme list so folks can still use all the nice themes that Omarchy has but if they want something dynamic they can choose that.

Right now the theme script already symlinks the files, so the wallpaper is always in the same place, I think the main trick will be to define the location of the outputs and then symlink those to where Ormarchy expects them to be.

I think hyprpanel does something similar.
