omarchy menus no longer working

walker silent error
- I ran omarchy-update via the menu & restarted..
SUPER, SPACE&SUPER ALT, SPACE- Neither are working!
- Tried running
omarchy-menuin terminal: "Error parsing option -p"

- brand new install of arch & omarchy as of yesterday, on my Steam Deck OLED (dual booting)
- used
https://github.com/aorumbayev/deckarchy(had to adapt because it wouldn't run) after install of base arch - wanted to update omarachy this morning before I began to delve into setting up GNU stow for my modified dotfiles.
- beyond changing the
$browserin~/.config/hypr/bindings.confnothing has been modified
