Screensaver activates in new tiled window when control menu left open.

**To replicate**: Open the control menu, leave it open for 2.5 minutes or so and the screensaver will activate in a new window instead of the whole screen as expected.

Perhaps we could auto close the control menu after 60 seconds of inactivty?
