Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
On a fresh install (vanilla Arch + Omarchy), no audio outputs were available in Hyprland on a Beelink BER8.
PipeWire and WirePlumber were running, but WirePlumber logged:
`s-monitors: PipeWire's ALSA SPA plugin is missing or broken. Sound cards will not be supported
`
Fix was to install the missing packages and restart services:
`sudo pacman -S pipewire-alsa pipewire-pulse alsa-card-profiles alsa-ucm-conf
systemctl --user enable --now pipewire.service wireplumber.service pipewire-pulse.socket
systemctl --user restart pipewire wireplumber
`
After this, wpctl status showed:
Devices: Studio Display (USB), AMD/Realtek HDA
Sinks: e.g. “Studio Display Analog Stereo”, “ALC897 Analog”Im not sure why my first installation of omarchy worked out of the box regarding audio.
Can someone help me understand this? If its a repeatable error i would ofc suggest to include the packages but im not sure why it worked in the first place.
