Proof Portal
Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
First of all, keep up the good work!
I have a personal story with about a dozen fresh Omarchy installs on Lenovo ThinkPads and Lenovo Tinys, but the common thing was that I had to use the install-bare script because of the default apps they needed, like nano, xed, Chrome Stable, Firefox, VSCode, Gemini, Bitwarden, Proton Pass, ProtonVPN, Wireguard, Onlyoffice, Audacity, Flowblade, Drawing etc.
So please add a default app chooser for browsing, editing, coding, AI, Office, Utilities, etc., when installing with the at least the bare script. The preinstalled apps are awesome for some people, but they’re not the same apps everyone in the community would want.
