Description
The current transparency configuration could be enhanced for video streaming platforms. While there are existing rules for certain applications in system.conf https://github.com/basecamp/omarchy/blob/bd2eddbab403001dc9758337860bc4ed7f9650dc/default/hypr/apps/system.conf#L17-L18, video streaming websites would benefit from full opacity to improve the viewing experience.
Problem
Currently, video streaming platforms inherit the default transparency rules, which can make video content appear washed out or harder to see clearly. This affects the overall user experience when watching videos.
Proposed Solution
Add specific window rules for popular video streaming platforms to ensure full opacity:
# Video streaming platforms - full opacity for better viewing experience
windowrule = opacity 1.0 1.0, title:.*YouTube.*
windowrule = opacity 1.0 1.0, title:.*Twitch.*
windowrule = opacity 1.0 1.0, title:.*Kick.*
windowrule = opacity 1.0 1.0, title:.*Netflix.*
windowrule = opacity 1.0 1.0, title:.*Prime Video.*
windowrule = opacity 1.0 1.0, title:.*Disney\+.*Alternative Implementation
Using windowrulev2 for more precise matching:
# Video streaming - full opacity
windowrulev2 = opacity 1.0 1.0, title:.*YouTube.*
windowrulev2 = opacity 1.0 1.0, title:.*Twitch.*
windowrulev2 = opacity 1.0 1.0, title:.*Kick.*
windowrulev2 = opacity 1.0 1.0, title:.*(Netflix|Prime Video|Disney\+).*Benefits
- Improved video quality: Full opacity ensures videos are displayed with optimal clarity
- Better user experience: No transparency interference during video consumption
- Consistent with media consumption: Aligns with the expectation that media content should be fully opaque

Current: YouTube with default transparency rules applied
Additional Context
This enhancement would complement the existing system rules and provide a better out-of-the-box experience for users who frequently watch video content. The suggested platforms cover the most popular streaming services:
- YouTube: Most popular video platform
- Twitch: Popular for live streaming
- Kick: Growing streaming platform
- Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+: Popular subscription streaming services
File Location
The rules should be added to: default/hypr/apps/system.conf or a new dedicated file like default/hypr/apps/streaming.conf
