Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Set DNS from DHCP as default, or update release notesrevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:27 UTC via poll

Just updated omarchy manually, and discovered that I'm missing any domain resolution.
Systemd resolved wasn't running, and I was missing /etc/resolv.conf.

While in release notes for 2.0 was mentioned addition of new menu for DNS provider selection, it wasn't clear that CF is now default option.

Sadly, some countries in this world are blocking CF, and someone wouldn't find out why "internet is not working after omarchy install". Looks a bit bad for a project.
