UK Keyboard Doesn't set

Original report
Using the new installer worked really well.
I set my keyboard to "UK", but once the install was complete, this was not reflected in the Hyperland config.
My investigation leads me to
install/config/detect-keyboard-layout.sh
but I may well be wrong!
I suspect the issue is that in one place it's UK and in the Hyperland config it's "gb".
I'll keep looking in case I can figure out how to set this and contribute more.
(I discovered my login issues were due to using some of the symbols which move about depending on the layout!)
