Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Decryption Stage/Login Has Screen on Minimum Brightness and You Can Barely See to Enter in Decryption Keyrevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:27 UTC via poll

When booting up and coming to the initial decryption stage of the login process, where you put in your decryption key for the drive, my screen is at minimum brightness without being completely turned off, after upgrading to the latest Omarchy using the "update->omarchy" feature. This did not happen before on my ASUS Zenbook S16. I have of course tried increasing brightness using the keyboard and it does not work.
