ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Issue with Catppuccin theme and Neovimrevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:35 UTC via poll

On Omarchy v2.0.5, starting Neovim while using the Catppuccin theme results in the following error from lazy.nvim:

Failed to run `config` for bufferline.nvim
...re/nvim/lazy/LazyVim/lua/lazyvim/plugins/colorscheme.lua:61: attempt to call field 'get' (a nil value)
# stacktrace:
  - /LazyVim/lua/lazyvim/plugins/colorscheme.lua:61 _in_ **values**`

The full path for the file being ~/.local/share/nvim/lazy/LazyVim/lua/lazyvim/plugins/colorscheme.lua

Context for colorscheme.lua:

  ...
  55   │     specs = {
  56   │       {
  57   │         "akinsho/bufferline.nvim",
  58   │         optional = true,
  59   │         opts = function(_, opts)
  60   │           if (vim.g.colors_name or ""):find("catppuccin") then
  61   │             opts.highlights = require("catppuccin.groups.integrations.bufferline").get()
  62   │           end
  63   │         end,
  64   │       },
  65   │     },
  ...

Clarification: Neovim works just fine. I would assume it just can't load bufferline.nvim (?)
