Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Install fails due to no wifi adapter also can i customise boot disk and / partition?revision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:35 UTC via poll

Hello,

I am using an older Fujitsu Celsius R930 desktop machine with dual v2 Xeon 2680 CPUs, 256gb ram and a mix of SSD and non-bootable NVMe drives... with a GTX 1650 GPU running a 2.5k widescreen and a standard 1080p screen in a dual monitor setup...

When I try to install from your ISO, the process fails almost instantly because it can't find a Wi-Fi adapter...

I don't have a Wi-Fi adapter, only dual 1gb Ethernet Intel Pro NIC's which are built into the mobo...

I am currently able to install and use CachyOS without issue...
-
I customise the CachyOS install and disk partitioning by installing an ESP/fat32 boot partition on a smaller bootable SSD drive and then i use a non-bootable NVMe for / - and I also mount another non-bootable NVMe as my /DATA drive...

I would love to be able to do similar and use Omarchy on my system...
