Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Some applications UI are "zoomed in"revision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:35 UTC via poll

I've been using Omarchy for a few days and I think it's great, but I'm having some issues with a few application UI sizes.

I use vivaldi as my browser and when I installed it the UI was enormous:

Vivaldi does have a UI Zoom option, but even with it set to the minimum (50%) it's still odd, but usable. Tough some elements are still huge:

But another app with this problem is Bluemail. Unfortunately, to me it is unusable.

My monitor is 1080p, and I adjusted the monitor config file for it

I'm not really sure if it's an Omarchy issue, or Hyprland. Someone had a similar issue or knows how to fix this?

Thanks.
