Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

OMARCHY WAYBAR WORKSPACE SELECTORS MISBEHAVErevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:35 UTC via poll

The selectors for workspaces almost always misbehave unless an application is already loaded there... When starting the pc it's all fine... I set up my workflow, open zen .. check on my social media... Open vs code .. at this point 2-3 workspaces are open, suddenly i need to open something else.. i do super 4-5 or any workspace number in that regards.. it does show that I'm switched to that workspace based on the selection in waybar but I'm not.. I'm still where i am still stuck at the same workspace. I try with mouse, it's the same thing... Fun fact, when i switch the workspace my mouse is apparently in that new workspace but my monitor still shows the same one.. and this behavior is only for new workspace.. the ones where i already have few tabs open, they are fine. I can easily switch back and forth
