Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Right aligned windows get stuck when shrunk too farrevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:35 UTC via poll

System details

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X (16) @ 4.97 GHz / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 + 2019 MacBook Pro

I've been able to reproduce this on two fairly stock installs, a desktop and a laptop. Both are running 2.1.1, but I think this issue was happening prior to the latest update.

Steps to reproduce

  1. From an empty workspace, open two windows side by side
  2. Focus the right window
  3. SUPER + = to "shrink" the window.
  4. Repeat 3. until you have a column on the right.
  5. The column can no longer be "expanded" with SUPER + -
