After update to 2.1.2 login splash screen is skipped?

Beelink SER 5 AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, Omarchy 2.1.2
What's wrong?
After updating to Omarchy 2.1.2 on boot from system shutdown I am now greeted with a tty login prompt. Is this expected behavior?
The Omarchy splash login screen now is skipped and takes me straight to the desktop.
