A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Missing keyboard mapping for @ and ~ on a German MacBook Airrevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:35 UTC via poll

System details

2018 MacBook Air

What's wrong?

I used the 3.0.0 beta installer and configured a German keyboard.

But: I have no way of entering a @ or a ~ with this configuration and that is kind of a bummer. In macOS this can be done with OPTION + n for ~ and OPTION + l for @.

PS: I am happy to submit a PR with a fix but have no idea where to configure this. Any hint is appreciated.
