Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details
Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 14ACN6 with AMD Ryzen 7 5800U | Omarchy v3.0.1
What's wrong?
Hello!
When I try to install Steam from the Omarchy menu (Super + Alt + Space → Gaming → Steam), the installation fails with the following output:
Now pick dependencies matching your graphics card
[sudo] password for user:
:: Synchronizing package databases...
core is up to date
extra is up to date
omarchy is up to date
error: target not found: steam
I am using the latest Omarchy. System is fully updated (Omarchy v3.0.1).
Expected behavior: Steam should install successfully.
Actual behavior: Installer reports error: target not found: steam.
Solving the problem
I solved the problem by manually editing /etc/pacman.conf and uncommenting the following lines:
#[multilib]
#Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlistHowever
The prompt says “Now pick dependencies matching your graphics card”, but immediately after entering my sudo password, the installation just continues without giving me any actual choice.
