Proof Portal
Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
System details
AMD 9 7950X, AMD RADEON RX 9070, Omarch 3.0.1
What's wrong?
Updated to Omarchy 3.0.1 this morning. Everything seems to be working well, except that when I run the command flatpak update which I don't believe is caught during the normal omarchy update, it prompts me for my sudo password multiple times. There are normally 5-10 lines of updates or more depending on how long it's been. This was prompting me for my password 2 or 3 times per line. I had to enter my password a good 20+ times to make for this to complete.
I also noticed that instead of asking for elevation in the terminal, it instead popped that call out to a small GUI window, I'm wondering if this is authenticating the current action, but NOT the actual session in the terminal.
This was not the case before I updated this morning, so I suspect some things changed in the way authenticating is handled.
