ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Spotify audio hanging after one song with HDMI output over USB-Crevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:35 UTC via poll

System details

Omarchy 3.0, DELL U3818DW monitor with built-in USBC and speakers, Meteor Lake-P HD Audio Controller from Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 165H - Lenovo Thinkpad G7 P1 (16", Intel, 64GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 2000 model)

What's wrong?

This seems to be happening specifically with audio over HDMI via USB-C (to a Dell monitor).

I was able to "fix" this by instead launching Spotify with:

bindd = SUPER, M, Music, exec, spotify --audio-api=pulseaudio

That seems to work fine, but I wanted to log this issue in case anyone else hits the same problem.
