Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Auto Update (spin button) disable Wi-Fi after updaterevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:35 UTC via poll

System details

ROG Ally, MT7922, Omarchy 3.0.1

What's wrong?

System installed recently on ROG Ally on an external SSD. Boot via BIOS.
As I read the manual, I see the auto update button on the top and click on it.
It updated all packages just fine. But also install Linux kernel and ask for restart. After Wi-Fi does not start after restart, Wi-Fi via setup cannot be select. MT7922.
I feel like kernel updates like this are pretty dangerous as it can break hardware. Luckily this is a new installation.
