Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Install to a partition from the official ISO.revision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:35 UTC via poll

Reasoning for this suggestion

I think a feature that would drastically improve both adoption and ease of use of omarchy would be to allow one to install it to a partition of a disk. In cases where you, 1: need a different OS for something, or 2: need to keep files stored in your disk, are highly inconvenient as you must wipe a whole disk. I feel this will eventually be pretty much required if mainstream adoption is the goal.
