Original report
What correction or addition do we need?
I spent quite a long time with a failing install until I figured out that for some reason the compiling of the NVIDIA dkms module was failing (causing a whole host of mkinitcpio issues and boot failure) due to a slight CPU overclock I’d put on the system years ago that always seemed stable under Windows.
Removing the overclock immediately fixed the compiling issue.
Obviously anyone overclocking their system could reasonably be expected to suspect instability but thought it might be worth a brief mention alongside stuff like turning off fast boot, TPM etc, to reduce repetitive help posts in the discord.
Thanks team Omarchy 🙌🏻
