Proof Portal
Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
What do you need?
Hi,
inspired by this closed PR, i have a little idea/proposal:
Current State
Omarchy uses a lot of shell scripts
Problem
This leads to a situation where it's hard to customize the used shell, while at the same time inviting it's users to go customize their own system.
Omarchy's base-system shouldn't be a hinderance to customization.
Solution
Don't use shell scripts. Use a "real" language.
Making Omarchy independent from whatever shell is installed, would be a huge plus.
