Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

What's wrong?

After updating omarchy-chromium to version 141.0.7390.54-1002, Chromium displays incorrect colors when the monitor is configured to use EDID color values. This behavior did not occur in the previous version.

Package information
omarchy-chromium 141.0.7390.54-1002

Update log
[2025-10-08T02:39:01+0200] [ALPM] upgraded omarchy-chromium (140.0.7339.207-2 -> 141.0.7390.54-1002)

Expected behavior
Colors should be displayed correctly when using EDID-based color profiles, as in previous Chromium versions (≤ 140.0.7339.207-2).

Actual behavior
After the upgrade, colors appear distorted or incorrectly saturated when the monitor is configured with its EDID color profile.

This issue may be related to recent changes in Chromium’s color management or wide-gamut color handling.
