Proof Portal
Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

What do you need?
Issue
The main website offers a single “Download ISO” button, but the CPU architecture is not indicated anywhere.
The file name is omarchy-3.0.2.iso (no -x86_64 / -aarch64 suffix).
The manual search for x86, arm, and aarch64 returns no results.
How is a user supposed to know whether this ISO will install on their computer if the CPU architecture isn’t stated anywhere?
Steps
- Open the website and click the ISO button.

- Observe the downloaded file name
omarchy-3.0.2.iso(no architecture). - In The Omarchy Manual, search for:
x86

Actual
- Architecture is not shown on the page or in the filename.
- Manual does not mention supported architectures.
Expected
- The download page labels the architecture (or lets users choose).
- ISO filenames include an architecture suffix (e.g.,
-x86_64,-aarch64). - Manual documents supported architectures and how to choose.
Suggested fix
- Add arch-specific download labels/selector on the website.
- Publish ISOs with arch suffixes.
- Update the manual with a brief “Supported architectures” section.
