Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details
Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini 5, Omarchy 3.0.2
What's wrong?
I've installed Omarchy, on a first run tried to connect to Wifi, then noticed that keyboard layout is Russian and it doesn't switch to En whatever key combo you use. I've opened xkbd config, using copy-paste from Chromium, I was able to inset language switching option with ctrl+shift, save the thing and reboot. What a mess! By default in most systems keyboard shortcuts work no matter which input language is chosen, and that's how it must be. Using browser as a copy/paste pad is a mediocre experienct.
After that, language switching started working. But still, almost no shortcut work and selected input method widget doesn't reflect input language changed, shows English always.
Some shortcuts like ctrl+alt+delete work, but no Super+ shortcut work. Initially tried on my Logitech MX Keyboard, then changed it to an older wired keyboard with regular layout, but no luck anyway. Windows key is being totally ignored for some reason.
Anyway, not a smoothest OOBE experience for those who use multiple input languages. Not sure if this and shortcuts issues are connected, but it seems they might be.
