What do you need?

Add a global keyboard shortcut to quickly trigger text extraction using Tesseract OCR, with English (eng.traineddata) as the default language from tessdata.

🔧 Shortcut Details

  • Shortcut: Super + Shift + O

🪄 Expected Behavior

When the shortcut is pressed:

  1. Capture the selected screen region or the active window.
  2. Run Tesseract OCR on the captured image.
  3. Copy the extracted text to the clipboard or

Display it in a popup/text box.
4. Use English (eng.traineddata) as the default OCR language from tessdata.

💡 Notes

  • The feature improves workflow by eliminating the need to manually open the text extraction tool.
  • The shortcut should work globally across the system for quick access.
