Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

external monitor stays with "no signal" after being disconnected when setting a custom resolutionrevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:42 UTC via poll

System details

NVIDIA 3050, Omarchy 3.0

What's wrong?

Custom resolution 5120x1440@144Hz on monitor HDMI-A-1 works initially in Omarchy (Wayland), but fails after the system sleeps or the monitor is turned off and on again — the monitor shows “No Signal” even though it is detected by the system.

here is my monitors.conf file:

env = GDK_SCALE,1
monitor=,preferred,auto,auto
monitor=HDMI-A-1,5120x1440@144,auto,1
