Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details

Omarchy v3.1.0

What's wrong?

After updating Omarchy through the update icon option in the topbar, walker and elephant were completely missing. I attempted to re-install these packages through the omarchy repo, and did so successfully. However, the walker menu and the system menu in the top left do not appear when I press SUPER SPACE and press the top left icon, respectively.

edit:
Installing walker instead of walker-bin using yay allows me to open the system menu and regular menu using the key bindings, but they are now transparent and what I assume not their default appeareance.

edit 2:
After doing the above and rebooting, the menus now seem to be fine. But why did this happen in the first place?
