What's wrong?
I am trying to test if Omarchy works for me, so I tried installing on a spare external SSD. I completed the 3.1 Omarchy setup wizard.
When booting onto the omarchy install:
- the "Omarchy" asci art shows
- I can log in with my password
- loading bar progresses completely (nice and reasonable speed)
- Blank screen
- No response from device at all, even caps lock does not illuminate
Some troubleshooting:
- Left for an hour, still nothing
- Rebooted, same issues
- Plugged SSD in different ports, no improvment
- Plugged External SSD into a different device to boot from, Omarchy desktop shows fine
UPDATE: I was able to get into Omarchy on my Lenovo by installing a LTS Linux Kernel version.
