Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Hyprland Input Config Not Being Respectedrevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:42 UTC via poll

System details

i7-1355U, Omarchy 3.1.1

What's wrong?

Upon updating, the configs located in the .config/ (super + shift + space -> setup -> input) are not being respected.
This is my input.conf:

# Control your input devices
# See https://wiki.hypr.land/Configuring/Variables/#input
input {
  # Use multiple keyboard layouts and switch between them with Left Alt + Right Alt
  kb_layout = gb
  kb_options = compose:ralt # ,grp:alts_toggle

  # Change speed of keyboard repeat
  repeat_rate = 40
  repeat_delay = 600

  # Increase sensitity for mouse/trackpack (default: 0)
  # sensitivity = 0.35

  touchpad {
    # Use natural (inverse) scrolling
    natural_scroll = false

    # Use two-finger clicks for right-click instead of lower-right corner
    # clickfinger_behavior = true

    # Control the speed of your scrolling
    scroll_factor = 0.4
  }
}

# Scroll faster in the terminal
windowrule = scrolltouchpad 1.5, tag:terminal

Setting my keyboard layout to gb and disabling natural scrolling has no effect, even after a reboot. I've even tried modifying .local/share/omarchy/config/hypr/input.conf to try and setting the same options there, but it still doesn't work. Waybar hyprland/language reports my keyboard layout as us, even though this is never set anywhere.
Any help is appreciated.
