What do you need?
For laptop users, the hibernation feature is very useful.
The Sleep feature is not enough, for the RAM is kept powered on. It is great to have the system come back to life instantly, but drains the battery. Most likely the system won't make it through the night!
The hibernate feature is very handy. It stores the RAM to the disk. Given, the wake up phase feels as slow as a booting sequence, but the battery can last for weeks!
